Whether you are looking for a change or just considering your future career options, it would be lovely to meet with you to show you what life could be like working as part of the Front of House Team at the museum.

At The Bowes Museum we are a warm, friendly team and we are currently recruiting for the position of Visitor Assistants on flexible 37hr, 25.5 hr and 17hr permanent contracts. 

You would be an integral member of the Museum Front of House Team, assisting with the day to day running of museum and grounds, dealing with all types of visitor enquiry, reception duties, cash handling, carrying out Key Holding responsibilities, patrolling the galleries, routine cleaning and other ad hoc duties as required.
