General News > Silver Swan Maintenance
Next Monday to Wednesday, 13th-15th August inclusive, essential maintenance work will be taking place on The Bowes Museum’s Silver Swan musical automaton, meaning that it will not be played on those three days.
However, Matthew Read, who is carrying out the maintenance work, will give a short talk at 2.00pm each day instead.
Matthew is also carrying out the maintenance in full view of the public, so they will be able to watch him at work during those three days.
