The Bowes Museum previously had one classroom which was very much in demand. Now a suite of life-long learning spaces has been created on the ground floor in the Museum’s vaults.

The rooms are fitted with appropriate facilities to improve the quality and number of educational sessions, particularly for under 18s. Both hands-on activities and classroom-based learning is possible, and supporting educational materials targeted at each user group can be developed further.
