Flat Annular Brooch

This flat annular brooch has a wide irregular band that is decorated with a row of punched dots and dashes around both edges. A large area of mineralised textile survives on one side. This was excavated from 'Grave 2' in Easington Anglo-Saxon cemetery. The sex of the person in this grave is unknown.
