Small-Long Brooch

This small-long brooch is made of cast copper alloy. One of the three 'lappets' is broken and the foot of the brooch is damaged. Decoration around the remaining lappets and the head plate consists of punched crescents set in single lines. This was excavated from 'Grave 7' in Easington Anglo-Saxon cemetery. The sex of the person in this grave is unknown.
