Ferryhill Bone Strip

Carved bone strip, with Viking style interlacing and animal head designs. It is thought that the strip was originally attached to a leather or fabric strap, or was perhaps part of a carved bone box, held together with bone pegs. It is approximately 2cm wide and at most 9cm long.
