Buckle

Bronze Gotho-Frankish style buckle from the late 4th century. There is some simple decoration on the belt and tongue plates, but the belt plate is broken at one end. The longest point is approximately 8.75cm and the widest point is 5cm. Part of the original Bowes Collection.
