Grave Cover

A small medieval grave cover from Denton Church. It is made from a dark grey stone and carved with a pair of shears, suggesting that it commemorates somebody who was involved in the making of cloth. It has straight sides which have been shaped, and measures 12cm thick x 70.5cm at its longest point x 30.8cm at the head and x 21.5cm at the foot.
