How Tallon Beaker Fragments

These fragments are thinner and more porous than the food vessel found on this site. The surface is light brown with a pinkish tinge on the outside and fine grits. It is decorated with a herring-bone pattern and horizontal lines, and is thought to have been made quite late. The beaker fragments were found with a skeleton buried above the empty cist in the barrow.
