Polished Stone Axe

Polished stone axe, thought to be Neolithic, with thin sides that curve slightly outwards. The butt of the axe is broken, but the overall condition is good. The stone used for this is very fine-grained, and is a light colour on the surface, although beneath this it is dark grey. It is approximately 20.5cm long x 8.5cm wide, and weighs 1125gms.
