Group of dead child
Marble child from a tomb. The child lies on a draped bed on a high base, the drapery strewn with roses. It lies on it's back, the head inclines to the left and rests on a tasselled pillow. The right hand rests on the chest, the thumb displacing the cord from which a crucifix is suspended. The right leg is bent and tucked under the left.
