Part of a pair of serpentine marble vases in Empire style with simulated silver bands of anthemion and simulated gilt mounts, from the Paris Exhibition of 1867. The vases are urn-shaped, on circular, fluted pedestals; the covers are inverted bowls, surmounted by an inverted bell with a mushroom top. Size: Height: 101 cm; Width: 44 cm.
