Snuff-horn

The end of a ram horn, truncated with the tip curled. The surface polished. The outer side fitted with a shaped escutcheon of silver. The neck fitted with a silver collar with hinged cover, cast and finely chased with a wreath of thistleheads and leaves forming the mount for a cut and polished cairngorm. Size: Length: 10 cm.
