Women's Day Dress
Day dress of white cotton, printed with black dots, worn with an embroidered handkerchief of fine white cotton trimmed with French Valenciennes lace, French or English 1780-1800.
The dress has a low neckline and a plain short-waisted bodice, which wraps over at the front, and a long narrow skirt falling elegantly into a train at the back.
