Figures of Travelers

Two figures of box wood, on turned cherrywood bases. One figure, possibly a pilgrim, is wearing 17th century dress, his hands clasped and across his shoulders a black paper sash. The plinth has chip-carved decoration over turning. The other figure in alpine costume, carries a pack frame on his back, with various items, including a churn, carved in cherry wood.
Size: Height: 6.3 cm and 6 cm.
