Roundel

Oak roundel, possibly stained, with machine-turned edges. Carved lion's mask with bared teeth, occupies centre of roundel. Probably the boss for a cloak pin. A brass plate on the back carries a square-sectioned socket, into which the arm of the cloak pin would fit.
