Corinthian Capital

A painted softwood Corinthian Capital, carved and decorated after the Roman style with acanthus scrolls and small volutes and terminating with a concave sided abacus, with screwed in steel support. The capital is built up of small elements, each scroll being carved from a separate piece of wood. The base is pierced for a dowel.
