Two narrow matching carved oak panels with a running design of fruit and leaves, pendant from what appear to be grotesque masks rising out of the foliage and supporting scrolls above (these now highlighted in modern gilt paint). Both show marks of earlier pegged fixing points.
Possibly Flemish.
