Box
Box of pearwood, the sides with panels of carved acanthus scrolls, the lid centrally showing a coronet monogram. The box is raised on four bun feet and shows a flaring narrow base and a similar cornice, both these carved with upright leaf decoration. The panels on top and sides are outlined with dotted punchings. Two strap hinges show shaped finials. The box closes with a catch operated by pressing a steel button on the front of the box.
