Circular dish, the border moulded with vertical flutes. The centre decorated with a spray of flowers and foliage in enamel colours, the border in green enamel picked out in black. This dish is called an asparagus dish and is attributed to Protais Pidoux of the Meillonas faience factory, near Bourg-en-Bresse, Ain, France.
