Vases
Pair of vases of barrel shaped form raised on a flaring foot, each with a short cylindrical neck and flaring rim. Each has projecting loop handles in the form of grotesque fish heads with protruding tongues and each handle has a ring through the protruding tongue. The sides of the vases are decorated in a largely abstract way with mountainous landscapes with rock formations. The foot and neck rims with a border of serpentine ornament, below this is a band of formal ornament.
