Soup-plate
The centre painted in black monochrome of a pastoral lakeside scene with a bridge connecting an island in the middle of the lake to the far shore, upon which a man rides a donkey and a woman is wearing a yoke supporting two baskets, and in the far distance, houses and trees, including a house on stilts at the lakeside. The flaring rim is decorated with panels of various flowers - magnolia, jonquils, and lotus against a background of formal gilt ornament.
