Mantel Clock
Mantel clock in bronze and gilt bronze, the sculpture case showing a Grecian woman seated reading in a library. The clock with drum movement is mounted in the pediment of a bookcase in neo-classical style. Between the bookcases is a bust of Homer on a tall plinth, all in gilt-bronze, and at the top a bronze globe, set with gilt stars and held in a gilt-bronze stand. This bookcase stands on a plain gilt-bronze plinth supported on four bun feet. Height: 53 cm.
