Watch Movement
Uncased movement by Bonbruict, Blois, with enamel dial painted with Salome, the head of John the Baptist, and her mother and two tassels hanging on the material behind them. The enamel dial is mounted on the upper plate, a frame of gilt-metal showing round it, with zigzag engraving. The dial shows an outer hour band with Roman numerals in black and red, with trios of dots at the half hours. The single beetle ended pointer is in steel. The pillars of the movement are baluster-turned, the back-plate with pierced and engraved cock.
