Gold repeating watch by Charles Oudin of Paris. The case is quite thin, the middle milled, the back-cover engine-turned and engraved with the monogram J.B.S. The dial is of white enamel with Roman hour numerals in black enamel, and minute dots. The steel hands are of Breguet form. The bow is circular. The dust cover shows two winding squares. The key is of steel, with a gilt-metal top and bow in the form of a fluted column.The case is covered in black sharkskin and carries the initials J.B. in gold, and it is lined in white satin and velvet.
