Watch case
Watch case of pierced and engraved gilt metal in slightly elongated octagon. The meridian of the case shows a continuous band of quatrefoil and lozenge motifs, with slits two-thirds of the way down each long side, possibly for a fixing. Beadings flank this frieze and from the top of it rises the pendant with circular bow. The front has in the centre, a pierced roundel with trefoils surrounds the I.H.S. monogram, and the back a pierced and engraved panel shows Christ seated on the tomb before the Cross, surrounded by emblems of the Passion.
