Clock
This clock is so small it is fitted with a watch movement. The gilt-metal is very thin and has been stamped with designs of scrolls and shells. The clock is decorated with tendrils of gilt brass wire set with stamped metal bunches of grapes (the leaves covered with thin enamel) and painted porcelain flowers. The stand is now missing its glass globe. Several clockmakers named Lamy are recorded working in Paris between 1840 and 1870.
