A ceremonial chair of carved oak with upholstery of brown hide. A brass plate on the back of the chair reads: "Used in the Banqueting Hall by Her Majesty Queen Alexandra in the occasion of Her Visit to Newcastle upon Tyne, 11th July 1906".
