Chair

Single chair in varnished beech wood with upholstery with upholstery of gros-point and petit-point. The legs are fluted and enriched. The seat rail is plainly channelled and carved with paterae above the legs. The square back has uprights and rails with plain, recessed panels. The seat embroidery is of scrolls, flowers, and birds, and the chair back shows a mythological scene of a woman sacrificing at an altar.
