Fall-front writing desk. This writing desk is decorated with floral and geometrical marquetry designs. It is very similar in form to fall-front writing desks made by Jean-Francois Dubut (d.1778). The mid 19th century saw a revival in earlier, particularly 18th century, styles of furniture and decoration. Height: 118 cm.
