Chest
The sides of the chest are single planks, cut with an opening at the bottom to give the appearance of two feet. The front of the chest is panelled, the stiles and muntins chanelled and the top rail carved with an arcade of round-headed arches. The three panels are all carved alike with a shallow motif of crossings within a square. These grooves may once have held inlay of holly and boxwood. The chest has strap hinges of wrought iron and an iron lock plate. Size: Height: 67.5 cm; Width: 112.5 cm; Depth: 39 cm
