Hall Cupboard
Hall cupboard in oak with the date carved 1699, in the middle of the frieze. The lower tier has two four-panelled doors on either side of a panelled central section. The stiles, muntins and rails of this lower half are grooved and channelled. The recessed upper section is panelled with two small cupboard doors showing floral medallions and stylised leaves. The frieze is carved with interlacing lunettes and has a central panel carved with the date and at either end, hanging bosses with global twining. The cornice is carved with starred lozenges. The cupboard has wrought-iron drop handles to all doors. Size: Height: 158 cm; Length: 184 cm; Depth: 52 cm
