Table

Gateleg table, or games table in mahogany with serpentine top. The legs are square sectioned, the outer faces with toad-back moulding. Small spandrel brackets, acanthus within a broad C-scroll, support a frieze serpentine, curved vertically and horizontally, with a bead edging. The top, open or closed, is of Honduras mahogany, cross-banded with darker mahogany, with boxwood string.
