Hall Chairs
Part of a set of three hall chairs of oak with armorial panels and grisaille decoration of scrolls. The front and back supports are single panels of wood, cut with arches at the base and joined by a central, ogee stretcher. The solid seats are trapezoid with a central dished circle. The raked back is a single board, shaped and hollowed. Circular plaques on the front is bearing the arms of the Duke of Leeds.
