Writing Desk
Writing desk with bureau above incorporating a regulator clock movement. Veneered with mahogany on a carcase of deal with drawer linings of oak. The lower section is in the form of a kneehole deck. The upper section is made from three vertical sections attached to the desk from behind. Of these, the central section houses the clock and pendulum (the pendulum is over a metre long and is accessible from the central door beneath the desk).
