Commode
This rectangular shaped commode is veneered in various woods, including tulipwood and bois satiné, on a carcase of oak and deal. The corners and legs are inlaid to simulate fluting.
The circular marquetry designs are possibly inspired by Oriental laquer work, which has a great influence on French marqueters of the 18th century.
