Table Cabinet
This table cabinet depicts hunting scenes through marquetry. The doors open to reveal eight inner drawers, similarly decorated with hunting scenes.
This style of marquetry was developed Italian marqueters active in Germany towards the end of the Renaissance. There are few solid wood sections, the veneers are mainly of soft woods and the veneers are heavily sand shaded.
