Bracket
Bracket of sawdust and glue composition, with wooden shelf, the whole painted to imitate ebonised wood. The bracket support is cast with three moustached grotesque heads (two in profile) with scrolls and scrolling acanthus and vine-leaves. The wooden shelf is shaped, with a plainly moulded edge. Probably made for the Bowes' own use at Louveciennes or in Paris, possibly by Monbro. Size: Height: 36 cm; Width: 39.5 cm.
