Bracket
Bracket in Louis XVI style in giltwood, and gilt gesso, the horseshoe shaped shelf, edged with guilloche and beading, supported on a plain gilt fillet with an angled, free-standing trophy of a tripartite ribbon bow with chutes of flowers, in gilt gesso. The shelf top is lined with crimson velvet. Probably Monbro, who supplied similar brackets to Louveciennes and 7 rue de Berlin. Size: Height: 21.5 cm.; Width: 19 cm; Depth: 16.5 cm.
