Celestial globe on mahogany stand with ebony stringing. The centre column is turned, with ebonised collars. The tripod legs are square-sectioned, stringed, curving down to spade feet with brass castors.
The horizontal band is marked 'Published 1st July 1818 by J & W Newton, Chancery Lane, London'.
