Frame of walnut, upholstery in woollen embroidery on canvas, with an overall pattern of arabesques in strong reds and blues on a yellow ground, surrounding, on the seat a panel of fantastic birds and on the back a panel of petit point depicting 'The Return of the Prodigal Son'. The straight arms and arm supports are covered all over in the arabesque needlework. Seat and back outlined with gilt nails over gold braid. Height: 114 cm
