Decanter and stopper

In mallet shaped form narrowing towards the neck and flaring out towards the rim which forms a well into which fits an inverted cone shaped stopper surmounted by a sperical knop. The collar of the decanter is moulded with three bold ridges, the sides engraved with two bands of decoration including stars and dots, in between these two bands os written 'J.W. Burschall June 18th 1798'.
