Glass Bowl

The amber glass basin is of bowl shaped form, raised on a high circular foot. Decoration on one side, a portrait of Gladstone, and on the other side with 'Peace, Retrenchment and Reform May 1st, 1880' around which is written 'Gladstone the Liberal Champion and Premier of England'. The remainder of the surface is moulded with thistles, shamrock, roses and thistle leaves.
