Box
Rectangular of opaline glass, moulded into vertical flutes, the top which is rectangular, is similarly moulded, the flutes terminating in the centre of the cover. Both box and cover are mounted in gilt bronze with a gilt bronze hinge and lock. The whole raised on four gilt bronze winged feet. At either end depends from a gilt bronze mount a gilt bronze lion mask head. The mounts around the cover, top and bottom of the box are moulded with flowers and foliage in a formal design. The glass base is cut with a star.
