Flask

Flask of moulded clear glass. With flat base, the flask of flattened pear shape, inverted with a short neck. Covered all over with patterns made in two part mould, on a background of close parallel diagonal lines, on one side a bunch of grapes with leaves and tendrils, and on the other a shield with a lion to the left, on a background of large diagonal stripes and a crown over the whole.
Bought at the Paris Exhibition of 1867.
