Cooking Pot, late 17th century

Silvered bell-metal cooking pot, at the front cast with a winged cherub's head and the name Francois Demonsy near the plain ridged rim. The pot has two opposite lugs, fashioned as caryatids, to which has been added a later brass drop handle.
