Part of a pair of firedogs of iron faced with brass with sacred subjects in compartments. The scenes on each show Samson and the Lion, David playing the Harp with Samson carrying the Gates of Gaza, the Crucifixion, and Adam and Eve, each scene identified by a inscription. Size: 140 x 55 cm (approx.).
