Violin
Violin of maple and pine, stamped on the back, below the neck "HOFF". The body is of maple, the table of varnished pine, the neck and head of sycamore stained to resemble ebony along the fingerboard. Tuning pegs of ebony. The violin has its original ebonised beechwood case, lined with blue baize. This contains one bow, of rosewood, with ivory button.
