Violin

Violin of pine and maple, inscribed inside the body "Jacob Readshaw 1878 and 1903. Experimentally made at Roseberry 1878, altered 1903, greatly improved". The body is of red-varnished maple with a pine table, the neck and head in brown-varnished beechwood, the fingerboard, pegs etc. of ebonised wood. Unstrung and bridge not fixed.
