Stone Festival - The Stone Beneath Your Feet

A guided walk & talk on the geology of Teesdale & an opportunity to see examples of Teesdale marble in a riverbed. Meet your guides at the Museum gates at 11.00am for an in depth talk and walk before a hands on activity at 1.30pm, exploring the properties of stone.
